I would agree to some extent. Kind of a pathetic list if the things we supposedly "don't know" include going to to the beach (huh??), driving through neighborhoods (lol) and eating at restaurants. Or maybe it is simply lazy writing by the author.

These activities could be done in just about any Florida city including Orlando claiming " going to to the beach" is nearby even though the beach is over a hour away !

Perhaps a Yelp reviewer could have been more helpful in things you didn't know what you can do in Jax.

There are little gems but far and few between.

My favorite was the Skyline restaurant on the top of the BOA building. It had great little lunches and the views were spectacular. Unfortunately it closed.......hopefully as downtown brings more jobs in it might reopen and yes I know this is about places open but this place was a little secret not many knew about.
