We are moving to Jax b/c of a job transfer. I have posted here before. Are there any neighborhoods that are particularly popular in the 300 to 400 range? Are people moving to these areas b/c of schools, amenities, etc.
I know it is vague and please don't write back and say it depends on what you want Our main thing is to be in a good area. We are buying a house, so the rest is negotiable.

Thanks and I appreciate your time and answers.

NW St Johns County is the popular place, these days. Nocatee, Durbin Crossing, Rivertown, to name a few. With a range of $300-400k, you'll easily find something.

Nocatee and everything along SR-210 is getting pretty filled in. If you want less traffic (for now) there are places near the World Golf Village (another 5 miles past SR-210) (Murabella, WGV, Gran Lake, Trailmark, etc). Depends on if you want less traffic or more convenience. Schools in the northern part are getting overcrowded now, too, if you have kids and that is a concern.
