We are considering retiring to the St Augustine area. (Or nearby) We have been there quite a number of times, but never thought of a permanent move there. This is what we’re looking for if you have a suggestion on where to start our search.

A condo or villa. Prefably one floor. Clubhouse and pool. Does not have to be over 55, but we’re not against that. We want a community that offers an active lifestyle. We do not golf, but we do walk and ride bikes. We would consider single family home if the HOA took care of entire property. Our price point would be low 300’s. Although we love the beach, we realize we will be a drive away. 20 minutes would be good

Thank you for directing us on communities.

You may find something in Palencia. You did not say the size of home you were interested in. Mid $300k may be a stretch in St. Auggie for a nice area with decent home construction. Did you check out Palm Coast. It has more favorable home prices.
