Hello, please bear with me, I will try to be as concise as possible. The property we're interested in has it's own driveway, but a driveway adjacent to it is shared by 1) next door neighbor, 2) a neighbor behind him and 3) a neighbor behind me. What I noticed while looking was that from the rear property line (bordering the neighbor behind) to some distance forward of a tree line has been cleared linking it to the shared driveway looking like by all appearances that a short cut for a driveway has been made for/by the neighbor behind the property. We have asked our agent about this and has said will ask the seller. My question is, why was it cleared in this way? I want a survey but was told we need to be under contract, before this can be done, and have 10 days to do this, a home inspection and maybe a fencing estimate before we can back out. Thanks

The survey will likely NOT show this clearing, especially if there's no concrete. The seller will be your only source for this information.

Thanks Eric, the seller told our agent the electric company did the clearing.

Ah, so that could be a JEA easement. Hopefully the seller planned to disclose that, and not let it be a surprise! haha
