FHA does not require a home inspection? How can they do an appraisal without knowing the condition? I'm not going trust appraiser to do an inspection, lol. I thought they were strict at FHA.

No lender requires a home inspection, as far as I know. An insurance company may require a 4-point inspection as part of the binder requirement, though. You, as a home buyer, should require the opportunity to have a home inspection as part of your own due diligence.
