I’m retired and new to Jacksonville. I cannot afford to live in Nocatee/Del Webb, although they’re beautiful areas. Any thoughts on the Bartram Park/Springs area? Is this a safe area. The forum posts on Williams Walk Condos were really old, so I’m looking for some up to date info. It would be nice to be in an area with active seniors. Any ideas or help is welcomed.

It is a safe area. New, suburban, growing fast. I do not know about seniors or specific condos.

Nice/safe area. My only negative is that they are REALLY building up around that area now - housing, retail....you name it. So it's going to get very congested. But if you're a senior you probably don't have to travel at peak times so you should be good.

Thanks for the info. The yelp review was not very favorable towards Williams Walk, so that helps a lot. I wanted to stay in this general area since I have family living in Nocatee. Safe and affordable and any/all suggestions are appreciated.

Affordable can mean different things to different people. What is your budget?

I was hoping to be able to get a small home for $200k max. The fees and taxes in this area are huge. I’m not against a condo or townhouse if the monthly fees are commensurate with the Upkeep of the community bit so often those fees are mismanaged.
