As we consider various parts of Jax, I was wondering what can you tell me about the Hidden Hills, Holly Oaks, and Cobblestone neighborhoods that are south of St. Johns Bluff?

How would you characterize the neighborhoods?
Is that a safe area of Jacksonville?
Since the beaches have become expensive, it looks like that might be an area where many Mayport Navy folks might live.

IMO it's mostly safe. Hidden Hills country club is a gated golf community that has quite a few resales from the 300's to 500's. Outside of this, there are lots of communities with smaller starter homes. Not sure what you are looking for. Just east and a little south of here is Kernan Blvd which is slightly closer to the beach and I would say a tad safer, quieter etc...I also feel the nearby shopping along Atlantic Blvd is a tad more lively and upscale than the places you would likely frequent if you lived in the areas you suggested.

Home prices are probably a smidge more off of Kernan.
