Morning all,

I'm looking for insight on University Park/Woodmere surroundings and the vibe, I didn't get to drive by this area when I was there a month ago looking at apartment communities.

Any insights would be great regarding things to do, type of neighbor. Is this area flooded with college students or middle class blue collar workers that commute to DT?

Thanks.

Looks like apartments in this area are close to Rogero Rd and other areas that are just known to not be very friendly. I would try a little east and south of this area in the 32225 and 32224 zip codes if possible.

Rogero Rd. is on the other side of the St. Johns River, close to Arlington. Most of these folks talking down on the Northside don't know what makes up North Jacksonville.

Both UP and Woodmere are close to Jacksonville University, those areas make up Greater Arlington. You would go South on University Blvd. N, get on Arlington Expy to go across Matthews Bridge and get to Downtown Jax.
