Renting would be the right move. There are those that "think" they will fall in love with an area they move to, buy a house, then, later, sell the house and move somewhere else. A lot of money gets used up doing that, especially if the house that is bought, isn't sold for much.

As for us, we are in our early 70's, so we will have one more move, that our finances can handle, and that will be it. Visited Cheyenne, but turned out that the only time we'd want to be there is during CFD aka Cheyenne Frontier Days...…...when the city goes totally western/cowboy/rodeo.

Did you make the move? I'm considering going the opposite way. Maybe we can trade spaces? lol. I'm more for being near family, but also a week of cold/wet weather has me going insane. Finally got some sun this weekend. When it's nice here it's great, but when it's not it's prolonged and depressing.
