We’re still good in Ponte Vedra Beach. Just checked out the beach and waves were breaking ~15 ft. Going back out at high tide which is 12:50pm.

Thx for the update. I'm a bit further North of you and I'm trying to get a feel of what to expect.

Power out 1:35pm. Waves were 15-20’. Easily reaching the dunes. Walkways to the beach were intact as far as I can see.

Power flickered on and off last night at exactly 7:57pm. How do I know that? Because my football draft started at 8pm!

I thought PVB was mandatory evacuation, Zone A and Zone B?

Mandatory = suggestion. Most stayed.

We left for Matthew and Irma. This storm didn’t warrant evacuation IMHO. We had a room reserved at the airport and made sure they accepted cancellation until day of (most did after gov issued state of emergency).

Lost power for 23 minutes. Thankfully this was a glorified noreaster at best.

We didn’t lose power at all. It was an otherwise pleasant day off for me yesterday. I’m hurting for the people in the Bahamas.
