Is there any place in Jax (or in Florida in general) that I could get at least an acre (maybe half) that is:

- in a SAFE area (low crime)
- not in a flood or evacuation zone
- close to amenities like good schools and groceries

Looking to move next year and would love a place where I can have a garden and park an rv, maybe chickens.

Seems like there’s no such place when I look on Redfin/Zillow

I am brand new to the area so could be wrong but Switzerland seemed like a good choice for single houses without HOA or CDD. Also seemed very safe. However I am unsure about its flood zone or evacuation details

A house with elbow room without a HOA is possible to find. But to meet all three items on your list makes it a difficult search. The bigger your budget the more properties there are. Maybe run a realtor.com search without putting in a maximum amount and see what comes up, and that will give you a better sense of what is out there and where.

Probably, but I wouldn't know where to begin with suggestions. If you don't need to be near a big city and all that a metropolis offers, perhaps looking at smaller cities and towns you would find properety that would meet your critieria.

I live in St. Augustine, where unless you have a very large budget you would not be able to find what you are looking for. On the other hand, Hastings is not far from St. Augustine and is still in St. John's county (which has the top rated schools in FL) and has a lot more acreage.
