Gardner Minshew breathing new life into the Jaguars.

Makes the team fun to watch.

Lord knows they need it. Makes the fortune they paid to Foles look pretty bad. He has a high football IQ which is evident from watching him play. Beating Denver in Denver from behind, is no easy feat. They looked awful in the first half but really came on in the second. Go Minshew

I know Minshew is the QB and is obviously the leader of the team and the player with the most impact, but that O-line and both RBs (Fournette & Armstead) should be given credit as well for that W. That second half was brilliant to watch, Jags owned the line of scrimmage and just peppered in a few well timed and well executed pass plays when it mattered most. Fournette was the player we drafted him to be......power runner with speed.

I will agree, though, that Minshew has brought some excitement to Jacksonville and a breath of fresh air to a stagnant offense. He's a tough kid and seems to have a great football IQ. Of course it's only been 2.5 games thus far but I really like what I've seen from him. Some really gutsy throws and scrambles last night at key moments. At Carolina next week, will be another tough test.

Gardner Minshew and I graduated from the same high school. I'm kind of a big deal.

I mean, I wouldn't blame if he did. I wouldn't be mad about it.

Look who's #1, #18 and #19 on the NFL rookie rankings through the quarter mark. Don't want to get ahead of myself but what a draft.

Seriously, and that doesn't include Taylor or Oliver. Taylor was on somebody's all-rookie squad this week (not as many good OL rookies so far this year). If Taylor improves steadily he could be a top 10 rookie, and any contributions from Oliver would make this class one of the best in team history.
