Hello all,

I am looking to try out Pickleball. I heard about it but never played it. I'm really interested. I have played Tennis so I'm sure I'll get it quickly. Call me a newbie or beginner. Good exercise for me as well as I don't do any.

I would like to play it although I don't know anyone I can play with. Are there random groups I can join and where in St. Johns (32259) or nearby? I did check Meetup and there wasn't any.

Thanks in advance.

Nocatee is probably the biggest pickleball group. They have a Facebook group you can join to meetup and play.

Probably is the biggest...lol. I see them all the time at our Nocatee courts. You have to be a resident and the courts are crowded so not sure if they travel outside the bubble and play at other places. I kinda wanted to try it out because I enjoyed tennis when I was a kid. Looks like good agility sport.

It's a shame. I am not a resident. I really wanted to join a random game and maybe meet people too.

Try the Palencia Tennis Center. They have pickleball and I'm pretty sure you don't have to be a resident...at least you don't have to be for tennis lessons.
