My mother recently passed and I am starting the process of selling her house from Denver Colorado.

It is a three bed two bath in a gated community that backs to a nature preserve.

In Denver, it would run close to half a million. It’s half that in Mandarin. Is it because of the area?

Pricing is less here in FL. Mandarin is one of the better parts of Jax.

Mandarin is a pretty good area. It is extremely busy with tons of traffic, shopping, dining but the larger roads are built to handle it. There are also plenty of alternate routes you'll learn over time to get around. It is also a pretty large area so houses ranging from the 200's to multi million waterfront. There are super nice areas with large oak trees peppered all around. Location is good in terms of proximity to other parts of the city with quick access to interstate.

The congestion is really my only complaint. It might not be as bad as where you live now but as a Jax local, I think it's pretty bad.

I've lived in the Mandarin area for the majority of my 26+ years in Jacksonville. It's located within 20-30 minutes of pretty much any area of interest and it has easy access to interstate highways (95 and 295). Shopping is aplenty. The schools are top-notch.

Also, I'm sorry for your loss. My prayers to you and your family.
