We have 3 news stations in Jax.
First Coast News
Action News
News4

Who is best for:
Downtown news
St. John’s county/St Aug news
Southern Georgia
West side
Etc

I am in St Aug. Which news station devotes the most attention to the southern communities?

News 4 I consider to be the "D" team so I hardly ever watch them.

I go back and forth between First Coast News (FCN) and Action News Jax but I think FCN is the best out of the 3. Jessica Clark I believe is a St. Aug resident so they're always doing St Aug specific/focused segments now and then. Aside from that, they all report the same stuff for the most part.

They are all Center-Right to me, it's Jax Metro area.
D grade as in they suck (A, B, C, D, F). not talking politically here...

When I meant "best", I should have been more clear. I meant, does one station focus on one section of the metro area more than another? For example, for people in Ga, which station would you watch that does more stories relevant to Ga (sends news crews, local stories, etc). Same question for St John's county, etc.

Or do they all serve/blanket the metro area the same?

The natives rely on News 4 Jax...been the 800lb gorillia in this market for years. They have/had been my go to as well, but I've since switched to Action News Jax. I like their presentation and personalities a little better and as a Cox station, I know I'll get quality reporting and better newsgathering tools.

I cannot do FCN at all. Drunk Tim and his whorebag wife just.....I mean, I can't do them.

Action News Jax would be best for SJC and points south. Matter of fact, they cover all sides of town better than the other two.
