woo hoo !!!
Just a little hint , If you are stopping by every few days to check on the progress, it goes a long way to bring some donuts or some other kind of goodies and bottles of water to the construction guys.
Also make sure to meet and get to the know the site manager.
When we were building our house I would bring them all goodies and when there was a possibility of a delay with one of the subs somehow they made sure mine wasn't delayed.

You must be so excited !!!!

Good advise you do not want to **** the folks off who are building your home thats for sure. They might forget a few nails here and there if you know what I mean.

I am telling you it really does work. I also kept the saleladies in the model supplied with brownies so when at the weekly meeting they said due to the electric sub delay it would put our closing back 30 days, They told the owner of the building co " if you don't close them on the expected date they, along with their 3 dogs are going to move in your house with you !!"
When the city inspector came by to do the framing inspection he said they had gone above the requirements.

lol I told him it was the "homemade cookie factor"

take pictures of the inside now before they cover the framing up. I wished I had! You never know when it'll come in handy!
