My wife and I have been looking to be closer to our daughter in Coral Springs. We have three other daughters spread out around the US. So being within an hour drive of an airport is what we think we want.
We both in our mid 70's looking for some kind of a community type living to make meeting new people our age and make some new friends. We have read about the bigger type communities which sound good but!!!!
Having things to do for each of us and as a couple are important. Having access to golf is not! Never liked the idea of hitting a small ball and then chase it around ta course,
Price we have in mind is around $250,000. HOA fees of ??? Resale works as well as new, trailer type are not of interest to us.
Any idea as how to start our search? What to look for and questions to ask?
We will be located in @ our daughters for the next 4 to 6 weeks so we have time to look around.
Any and all help would be great!

$250 may be a little on the low side for a nice location.

Correct. A realistic price for most of the 55+ communities with nice amenities, shopping, planned activities etc start in the 300's.

Also know that out of the three locations you've chosen, Jacksonville's airport is the most lacking in overall flights and one ways.
