Looking to get a wrought iron fence in backyard since there is a retention pond and worried about gators and my dog. It's a bad time economically for our family but looking for a good honest company that will do a good job and give us a fair price.

You'll not likely want to pay the price for a true wrought iron fence. Aluminum fence that's powder coated in black is what you want. If you look on lowes.com, you'll see pricing ranges from $60-140 per 6-ft section. So, if your lot is 60-ft wide, you'll need 10 panels, plus 7-8 posts (~$35/ea) and gate hardware. So material costs, at a minimum, will be at least $1,000, if you DIY.
