Most likely going to visit Jacksonville early next year. I wanted to know if theres streets, neighborhoods, shopping centers, markets, etc, that have asian businesses.

Now, if there is an actual Asiatown, thats awesome, like the ones in New York, Boston, Houston, Chicago, San Francisco and such. Let me know. But if there isn't, thats fine. For example, if you've been to Atlanta, Northeast Atlanta is a heavy asian and hispanic area especially Buford Highway. You find countless amounts of authentic food, gift shops, tea shops, bakeries where you get baked bbq pork buns, vietnamese delis, roast duck, dim sum, malaysian, vietnamese, korean, thai, filipino, chinese, japanese, and all other far east asian restaurants. I especially like those asian food courts where you find all that within a 200 foot radius in one room of a mall or market like there is in Boston's Super 88 Food Court/Grocery Store and many places in Atlanta northeast are like that too.

So, like I said, no real "official" asiatown is fine. Something like Atlanta's Buford Highway or Boston's Super 88 or Olive Boulevard in St Louis is great too. You can name a neighborhood, market, food court, mall, walking street, the more information the better!

No, nothing at all like that sadly. There's a dozen or so smallish Asian markets sprinkled here and there. Vietnamese and Filipino populations are the only significant asian populations (and Indian as poster above mentioned if you count South Asian)

The closest you'll get to that (and it's not very close in quality or quantity) is Jax Oriental Market. Address: 10584 Old St Augustine Rd #2, Jacksonville, FL 32257

In that strip you'll find the most popular Chinese grocery (Jax Oriental Market), as well as a Taiwanese bakery/dumpling store (Seasons Dumplings), and an authentic Cantonese restaurant (Peony Bistro). They used to even have the Chinatown bus stop there but I don't think it runs anymore.

I'm Japanese so I either go to Jax Oriental or Circle Japan on Beach Blvd between Kernan and 295. Gets the job done for the most part. No Mituswa here if you get the drift.
