Just yesterday I had to go inside Gate because all the pump card readers were broken. Bathrooms were closed for "maintence", too. This was at a newer Gate. I'll take my chances with Buc-ee's.

I live within a mile and it is definitely open. Hubby insisted on stopping by and it was like Walmart on black Friday! we walked right out. Some neighbors have said in the middle of the day it is not too busy. I gas and go and usually don't frequent the inside of gas stations anyway.

We stopped on our way to Orlando. The merch section was black friday crazy but the food sections/bathrooms were not. The food was decent. Sandwiches better than subway and breakfast sandwiches/wraps better than typical fast food. The only issue is that the intersection is still not done. Somebody screwed up because they had a year to get that road done and did not. It will cause a back up when leaving at busy times. Gas is currently cheaper than gate by 5 cents.

I stopped in yesterday and thought it was pretty cool. Aside from the buc-ees merch and tons of food options, I like the premier brand displays like Oakley, Costa, Pelican, Benchmade, Pelagic.

Been there done that
It's a Gas Station. Its a pulled pork BBQ show. Its probably the best selection of beef jerky in JAX. Try the sandwich with pickles and onions like I did. Yes it is a gas station but a mob scene when I was there. It is worth a visit. Sorry -no place to sit. They should have put a seating area like Wawa. Anyway it is sure to be a success!
