We just found a wonderful home in Palm Coast closing late November. Question is any intel good or bad about the area and things to do we are both retired.

If you are retired you will likely enjoy PC. It's a lot of pre-planned communities and strip malls with chain restaurants. I wouldn't choose to live there unless or until I was retired myself.

Its definitely more generic than Delray Beach. Big box stores/chain restaurants are the norm, you won't find a Atlantic Ave type vibe.

One visit to "European Village" will make you laugh.

Our friends are retired and live in the canal section. They have a boat and take it up to St Augustine and around the Intracoastal. They head to Daytona for shopping. Medical care has been good for them locally in Flagler Beach and they have the bigger centers in JAX if needed.
They do mention it is quiet, but weather is good as well as the cost of living.
Best of luck to you. Hopefully you will love living there!

I lived in Flagler Beach for a year. I echo a lot of the other opinions, good cost of living and lots of chain stores. I can see it as a good place to retire. If you want different cuisine, go down to Flagler Beach. Also, if you like Italian, make a reservation at Osteria Rustica in Bunnell.
