St. John's County to be precise. It is probably, one if not the most desirable, healthiest, and well-funded counties in N.E. Fla. Not cheap but, you do need to pay to play.

Jax has plenty IT jobs. St Johns much less but many who live in St Johns commute to jax for work (and many can still work remote). Check out Citibank which is located right near the St Johns county border off Old St Augustine Rd. They employ hundreds of IT folks that work in Jax. Also nearby there are some other office campuses near Baptist South hospital. I think Kemper Auto insurance and some other large QA company named something with 'Bee' in the name.

Citi, Deutsche Bank, FIS, Gate, Haskell, JEA, VyStar (they REALLY need good IT help!), just to name a few off the top of my head.

St Johns is too popular with totally unrestrained growth. The big draw is the top rated schools system plus low crime. For a young family its great. Home pricing has gone crazy but if you have a long time frame it will work out in the end.
