lincoln park, downtown???? I would never consider that downtown like the loop area

downtown = in the "city". people from the burbs would say "LP? oh, you live downtown". i work in the loop and it's about two miles from my apartment.

I've lived in streeterville and wouldn't call lincoln park downtown

i also lived in streeterville at LSD/Ohio... i am missing your point here though. to someone from naperville or schaumburg, they would say LP is downtown. am i wrong here?
