Good Morning,

We once lived in Baton Rouge and over the years, people started moving to the outer areas of BR, making BR a white flight kind of city. I have noticed, in my condo complex, more and more riff raff moving in, causing more trash around the complex et ....and many people moving out. The majority of people are owners and less than 45 percent rent, but it seems that people are moving to the outskirts of town maybe. I have no idea if I am imaging this, or if anyone else has seen a shift especially around Tinseltown area, I do not mean to offend anyone, but just thought I would ask.....

Blame the condo owners for renting to said tenants. I know for a fact the Il Villagios are pretty cheap when you consider where they are. Especially when most people own and take care of their condos. Paying that same price for an apartment sucks when the people you live around don't take care of their place.

People want to live in nice areas, and if they can get in somewhere in the same price range as some of the other areas of town, they will move there. But that means others will start moving out if the condo association doesn't make the "riff raff" quiet down and pick up after themselves. They should be cracking down on those condo owners.

Have you tried contacting the association about this?
