Dear Candlwik - I am also in Technology and looking to relocate from CA - sooo expensive - rent is 2000 for 2/1 - rediculous. Please give me an overview as to why you love JaX - appreciated.

Thank you - Ian

It is good to see another New Englander escaping winter and heading south.

By the way, I have lived in too many places; I lived in Derry (Next to Pinkerton) after graduating from college. GO RED SOX!!!

I was born and rasied in Jax, as was my fiance, but I didn't find out about this forum until recently as we were searching for a house. We made an offer, and now, we are approaching closing. I'm looking forward to raising my own kids in Jacksonville someday

I'm still waiting for the pizza patrol to go out again.

I tried a Renna's cheese pizza (light on the cheese). It was quite tasty! Is that that place where you tell them to cook it less so you can re-heat it when you get home? If so, would you refresh my memory on what to tell them, please? I like my hot food "piping" hot.

Glad you enjoy it here. We are 17-year residents and still LOVE it.
How's the Springfield area?
