no real train service in jacksonville, as in other major cities. I guess other than taking a bus, a cab wouldn't be too much. I'm guessing around $40-50.

Just an idea, plenty of hotels on baymeadows, maybe you could call them and see if they would allow you to use their shuttle services to the airport. I'm thinking that if you asked the right person, they would allow you, and I'll bet it would be cheaper than a cab! I know there is an Embassy Suites on baymeadows. Just an idea! Worth a try!

You'd probably have to make a connection, but maybe you can take the bus from Baymeadows into downtown and them take AirJTA?

Yup taking the airport shuttle from downtown is the cheapest way. Schedule your flight for later in the morning, then take a JTA bus to downtown. The airport shuttle passes by the Kings ave station and FCCJ. Call/check the JTA website for bus schedules

I guess NiK didn't survive. Remind me not to ever try it.

j/k...actually, I have used it once before and it was perfectly comfortable, although it takes much longer than if I was driving myself (obviously).
