There's a small section of San Marco that is known to flood, but yes, it seems that is now in the past, they already opened the new pumping station .

Default Tropical Storm Advice

I will become an old pro after the first one; I just have no clue since the only experience with tropical storms/hurricanes that I have is watching Jim Cantore on the Weather Channel..
This is the advice I followed during the 2004 season which was really busy and it worked just fine...

First, you have to have a big heavy iron grill that won't blow away, like the smoker types that they sell at Home Depot. Next make sure you've got tons of charcoal...those 65 MPH wind gusts always burn the coals up pretty quick. Do not buy your beer in a can, bottles are heavier and are less likely to blow over, hence less waste.

Finally, while cooking, just wear a tight fitting ball cap to block the rain. DO NOT use an umbrella, as it will just get blown inside and out and ripped from your hands. If you are unclear as to any of these instructions, I have pictures of it in action.
