My brother is a Meteorologist and LOVES chasing storms. He said the chances are VERY good that Jax will take a direct hit from Fay. As of now, she's supposed to go out to sea, strengthen for a while, tun into a Cat 1 hurricane, then slam right into Jax.

Just giving you guys a heads up, not to frighten because I know its been a long long time since Jax has had one. I'd probably prepare now just in case. He said she's slow moving so it'll be around for a while.

I thought I heard Tim Deegan say the slower it is (and takes to get across the state), the better it is for us.
My son lives in Orlando and it said it's only rained a small bit and the wind is blowing a little bit.

Ahhh yes....we must care for the pets. Uhm, I'm not in a flood zone, so if you want, I'll keep your cat for you when the rain starts.

Tim Deegan couldnt hold my bros jock strap! Just kidding. Im sure he's a fine man & great weather guy.

The issue (as I understood it) is that when it goes to sea, its moving so slow that it builds more strength, comes ashore right around Jax, then craawwwwls along the city region for like 2 days, dumping heavy rain, high winds, killing our buzzes from the liquor we've been downing, etc.

It's okay, I'll take RadioClown's cat. I don't want you to be inconvenienced. Really, I don't mind.
