Are there any Comcast subscribers who have lost their cable? Ours has been out since about 2PM yesterday. It makes me feel so warm and fuzzy indie that Comcast is SO concerned about their customers safety and ability to easily access storm information via the television. So thrilled that I have another provider for my phone and Internet...I'm certain if Comcast was providing that, it would be out too!

Come on, i don't like comcast either but are you really mad that your cable has gone out in the middle of a tropical storm. Keep in mind real people like you and me are the ones that are out there fixing all the problems that the storm causes.

I have to agree with you Ectorcab, as annoying as it is when you lose service of any kind...we do have to remember that it is indeed, people just like us that are the ones who have to be out in the midst of a tropical storm to make any repairs.

I happen to have Comcast, tv, phone and internet...and I'm thankful not to have lost the service because of the storm...even though it fluttered several times yesterday. Hang in there Cellson, as aggravating as it is to be without the service, let's hope you'll have it back soon.

The safety of crews and personnel has to come first. In the grand scheme of things, cable TV is a very low priority. Get a radio and listen to the news there. These people have families and when the winds are above 40mph, Comcast will not put the lives of their employees in danger. This is the same with the electricity and that is a public utility and not an entertainment service.

Wow..........

I have Comcast for internet and have not lost service at all. I also agree with above. Cable is a very low priority. We do have local stations were you can get all the Fay coverage you want.

We lost it for a bit this morning, including internet.
If you don't have internet, you can get all the news you wish online.
When we lost electricity yesterday, I put batteries in the radio and listened to WKOV for news on TS Fay.

LOL. This picture reminded me of my son.
My son (who attend UCF) came home last weekend and told me he needed an umbrella. So, we bought him one. I got a text message yesterday, telling me that the umbrella doesn't work in the wind.
