I also posted this request on the Georgia forum.

I am looking for information on gasoline availability in the Amelia Island/Yulee areas. We have been planning a camping trip for a long time but are wondering if we should attempt it now with gas being iffy.

What is the current situation and what is it looking like for the next week or two?

Any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated for our planning purposes.

Thanks.

I haven't heard of any shortages in NEFL, I would think you'd be fine.

Hopefully someone who living in Amelia/Yulee area can provide some feedback.

Default Thanks

I have gotten no responses from Georgia or Florida. I am gathering that this is a non issue or that many are out of state who are on the forum. It is THE issue around North GA area. Went out last night to eat and saw not one station pumping gasoline.

There's been no issue here with gasoline. On another note, have you considered Hannah Park for your camping trip? It's absolutely beatiful and I'm thinking of renting a camper soon with this cooler weather and taking the family there.

Not familiar with Hannah Park. My problem is making the first 200 miles inside of GA evidently. This is not the worst thing in the world, but trying to get accurate information is impossible it seems insofar as Georgia is concerned. Our governor blames the public. He has shown no leadership on this matter in the least. I am retired so I can sit tight. But for folks who have to get to work on Monday morning, they need some relief.

EVERYTHING in our economy is tied to fuel. Period.

Thanks for your reply.
