LOL Jagfan. Hope you had a great time!!!

We went to the mall. It was a great time. One of the twins won the costume contest for her age group. Part of the prize was a $25 Visa Gift Card! WOW! With the three of them ToTing, we got enough candy to fill a 32-cup Tupperware bowl! That was MORE than enough.

Great costumes - you did a bang up job on them. The girls look adorable!

I can't resist:

In keeping with the new government philosophy of fairness, someone should have taken half of that candy and given it to the kids who were too lazy to go trick or treating.

While living in our house in Colorado, we got quite a few Trick or Treaters! They actually came in our housing development in carloads. Seemed like they stopped at houses that had Halloween decor outside and/or inside and the porch light on. I guess these were indications that Trick or Treaters were welcomed.
When living in a Huntersville, NC apartment complex, we had our patio decorated. Apt. Management handed gave a Notice, to those that wanted it, to put on their door (Trick or Treaters Welcome)........but not one Trick or Treater showed up!!
Now living in Jax, we have our living room window and front door decorated in our apt. and will see what happens. Have already had a nice compliment about our decor from our neighbor.
Thing is, not everyone celebrates (likes) Halloween just like (as we have found out) not everyone celebrates Thanksgiving and Christmas!
So, what are we doing for Halloween? Nothing, except giving out some candy if anyone shows up. No children or grandkids around, so that's out. Halloween party........naw, I don't think so! Those kinds of party's happened in the past at a much younger age!
