What is this area like? The good points and the bad points? Is it safe? Is it quiet? Can you ride your bike there? I know it's close to Riverside/Avondale.

[ I may end up buyiing instead of renting (long story). There are a lot of listings that appeal to me in Murray Hill. I'm into the 1920's bungalow type of house.]

Murray Hill would be perfect for you then in that case, even deep Riverside on the other side of roosevelt. There are two parts to Murray Hill, East and West. Live in west Murray Hill (south and west of Edgewood ave). You can ride your bike everywhere, Moon River Pizza is the ****, pardon my french. It is definitely an up and coming area (not saying it is bad, just getting popular). good choice, it usually isnt terrible crossing roosevelt (once again just cross at edgewood adn there is NO problem getting into riverside/avondale.

Murray hill is a pretty good place to be its like the gateway to go to Orange Park you got Blanding on one end and Roosevelt on the other and its not to far from Boxseats which has by far the best wings in town.

i wouldnt call murray hill a gateway to orange park as that is 15 minutes down the road on the roosevelt side and a few years on the blanding side, but u r right it is bordered by roosevelt and the south end has the beginning of blanding boulevard, and boxseats is excellent and seems fun if u eat there and dont get takeout, by the way Ready2Move2Jax, i know a good realtor if u need one for the area.
