Have you tried Google maps? They have a street view....kinda creepy, as it even shows the homes, the cars in the driveway, everything. But would be good to check out a neighborhood- it's just like a virtual tour- you enter a location and can then just "drive" down the streets, make turns on to cross streets, etc. just by using your mouse.

I LOVE the "street view" on maps.google.com.

That's how I found out which neighborhoods I really liked, by entering addresses listed on real estate websites. This makes it a lot easier for house-hunting.

Can't wait for more steet views to be completed!

I think you might mean "Lebaron Avenue"?

There are some nicely priced houses on those blocks (I've been admiring one just around the corner from the one you're looking at ). If you like urban homes mixed in with apartments, and all the sights and sounds of living so close to downtown, then this could be a great area for you. San Marco, 32207, is a highly desirable neighborhood, so any home that appears to be a "bargain" will have some challenges/faults, just be aware.
