I am getting ready to get rid of my wife's car and my mother's car (Wife is getting a convertible and my mother is getting my 1 year old Hybrid). I want to clean up the cars before I sell them.

I would recommend a private/mobile detail service. I used to work in the detail department for one of the major delearships and they can rip you off. My g/f got her civic detailed by some independent mobile detail guy for 50$ inside and out- it looked great. If i knew the name I would recommend it. Just call a few of them to compare prices

Just across the Buckman, south on San Jose about a mile is a Texaco* station that has a guy who does very good work- car will look like new. But he is not cheap. DM if interested and I will get his direct contact info.

Just got my headlights reconditioned and a scratch taken care of by Wrights. Marty does great work! I have had other people shy away from doing headlight work, but he knows what he is doing and got them looking like new again! Two detailers tried and failed to get out a scratch that he took care of! Not to mention that his prices are fair. Two thumbs up for Marty!
