Its already starting. I have been listening in the mornings and they have a commercial comparing them to planet when playing commercials...."Last hour planet played X commercials, 102.9 played Y.....well the number is gradually creeping up so they are starting to get advertisers. Its just a matter of time....

Haha yea i know exactly what you are talking about.

The first one of those commercials I heard said, "last hour Planet played 17 commercials, we played 4"

The most recent said ".....we played 10"

But at least we have an option to Planet

I do miss Cool 96.9, from listening on the 600 feed in Charleston, SC after they flipped from the Ball. It sounded like a good station. It had good jingles, and was much better than the Eagle.

If only Jacksonville had more talk radio than they did, with boring WOKV.

Or, you if you have a Blackberry, iPhone or Windows Mobile device & have an auxiliary input jack in your car, download Pandora for free & skip the commercials/mindless DJ chatter altogether. Works at home on your computer too.

Stop calling it "alternative." It's "modern rock." There is nothing alternative about it.
