Jacksonville may rank 6th on the unhappiest list (and that topic has pretty much been discussed to the contrary!), but we're also the 6th Tax-Friendliest City in the USA.

Because unhappy people can't stand happy news, Jacksonville (entire FL really) teen birth rate has gone up.

It's definitely one of the reasons why I'm moving there! Does anyone know how long you have to live in Florida before you can claim residency?

I think "residency" is official the day you get your FL drivers license and register you car, but for certain purposes such as FL resident tuition at state schools, you have to have lived here for 12 months.
