Are there any areas, south of Jacksonville, where one can expect not to find CDDs? I'm assuming the older neighborhoods like San Marco, Avondale, Riverside, etc. would not have CDDs. Is this correct? Thank you.

Default CDD fees

Yeah, the areas like San Marco,Avondale and such dont have CDD's. Your really only going to find CDD's in areas that are planned communities. The Mandarin area also has a lot of areas that dont have CDD or HOA fees. Try driving down St Augustine Road to get a feel for it. But there are definatly alot in Mandarin. Let me know if you need anything

$237/year is excellent, Karla. We looked at Eagle Harbor and between the CDD, property taxes, pool & tennis ($1800 just for this alone), golf, it was way over $11,000 a year. Whatever happened to that little house on Main St. where all you paid is property taxes?
