Does anyone know of a good company that provides renter's insurance in the Fleming Island area? Also, any ideas of the yearly cost would be helpful. Thank you in advance!

If you have auto insurance, give that company a call (or check their website) to see if they offer it. You may even get a discount for carrying multiple policies. From what I understand, renter's insurance is very inexpensive. Geico's website says they're as low as $12 per month.

Thank you for the info. but, I think I will be going with Progressive Auto Insurance when I move down there and if I remember correctly, they said they don't do renter's insurance in Florida, so I will need a company that I can use just for that. I will check into Geico and State Farm though!

They're not doing any new business, but if you currently have a policy, they may be able to grandfather you in.

Check with some of the smaller agencies: Brightway Insurance, Farm Bureau or another independent. They are appointed to write insurance for a variety of companies.
