Are you happy living in Jacksonville? If not where would you move?

i am definitely happy in jville and would not want to move. i am looking forward to coming back after being in atlanta, and if i did move it would be A) to Hyde Park/Bayshore area in Tampa, B) As close to Las Olas blvd/river in Fort LAuderdale as possible, C) In Palm Beach if I ever was wealthy enough. Love FL and do not want to leave, except for jobs and such. Does jville not fulfill EVERYTHING you expect in a place? lol The other choices on your list are the last places I would ever want to live including Orlando. Except maybe the mountains of North Carolina outside of Hendersonville (and that would have to be an extra house, I could not just live there).

Default No plans to move

Though I like some other cities in Florida, I don't think my quality of life would increase enough to justify taking on the additional cost of living in some of those cities.

Jax has nearly everything the other cities mentioned have, in some cases more since we are on the Ocean.

We're behind in certain regards (culturally, etc.), but Jax is quickly getting up to speed.

I think Jax was asleep for many decades, it just hummed along "Old Florida" style, but it's up and moving now.

I am very happy here in Jax. I didn't realize how much until our move to Atlanta fell through. I couldn't be happier we are staying.

We are in the 9A/Baymeadows area.
Have you been to Renas in the Towne Center for pizza yet?

Funny you should ask that! My husband and I get into our "pizza debate" every once in a while. He hates pizza....calls it "slop", can you imagine? He hates Renas most of all (don't judge him, he's Southern...wasn't raised on the stuff), and I was saying "I think there's a Renas in the Town Ctr - I'll go there without you!"

And so there is!

I've had Renas a couple of times and liked it, but I haven't tried this location yet. Hmmmmm.....I actually have to go over to the TC today....a slice for lunch is sounding pretty good right now!
