In 2 weeks we will be making a one way flight to Jax and settling into our temp. condo while we house hunt in St. Augustine. My daughter starts Flagler this fall (hence "flaglermom" ) but a bit confused on the elementary school areas for my son.

I was hoping for your opinions on the above mentioned schools.

Any and all advice is appreciated!

Default Otis Mason

I went to Otis A. Mason Elementary school and I loved it as a child. Very clean, excellent teachers and great staff members. If it is still as I remember, you (as a parent) will love it too! If I was back in St. Augustine, I would definitely look to send my daughter there! Good luck!

I am a teacher (unemployed) and have subbed at all three. All three are good choices, I would rate RB Hunt the best, then Hartley, then Mason. Mason is located right next to the highway and not in a neighborhood is the main drawback for me, but it isn't overcrowded so it has a small school vibe.
