We arrived here June 14, 2009 from PA. So far, it has been an incredible, glorious experience. I feel like I am on a permanent vacation and constantly walk around thinking, "I love this place!" This is such a beautiful area. The people that we've met have been so nice. I love Jacksonville, the Landing, St. Johns River, I could go on and on.

I've been here two months, and moved from MD... I moved down here with out ever visiting, mostly on information from this forum and it was the best decision I ever made... I absolutely love it here, FL has changed my life...

I moved here from Brandon, MS, just out of high school in May of 1989. Stayed until Dec 1989, then moved back to MS, but joined the Navy on the delayed entry program before leaving. Came back to Jax, stationed on the USS Saratoga, in Jan 1992 until transferring to Corpus Christi, TX, in Oct 1994. Moved back to Jax in May 1996, and have been here ever since. So, that makes it 16.3 years, so far. I plan to stay for the duration. I like it here. :-)
