Go Mets (except for this year, they are crap). You just need a place to watch the Ashes.

I remember the Suns when I grew up in Memphis. Jacksonville and Memphis were in the Southern League back then.

Orange Julius - Although we have Orange Tree, their drinks are just not the same as the Orange Julius drinks
More shops geared toward 20-somethings, like some that Five Points used to have
More pop concerts (i.e. Natasha Bedingfield, Nelly Furtado, Lady GaGa, Avril Lavigne, Gwen Stefani/No Doubt) - would be nice, instead of having to drive to Orlando or Tampa, or Miami
A "red light district"
Long John Silvers, though we used to have them in Jacksonville (they still have them elsewhere in Florida and Georgia, and even in smaller cities like Gainesville, but not in J-ville ... come on!)
Hockey

Ditto for 7-Eleven, an aquarium (I was also thinking something like the old Marineland -- with the different exhibits and tanks)

The Memphis team (the Chicks) moved to Jackson, TN, and became what is now the West TN Diamond Jaxx.

If I'm not mistaken, the Chicks wanted a new stadium or they would leave. They left. Then a new stadium was built downtown for the St. Louis Cardinals' Triple-A franchise, the Memphis Redbirds. That stadium (Autozone Park) ROCKS!

I went to one Chicks game as a kid, against the Birmingham Barons (the team Michael Jordan played for during his short baseball stint).
