We left the dock at 11:15AM and was back tieing up at 4:30PM.

Oh, another thing, there were quite a few smokers onboard. Cigs and a few cigars and smoking is allowed on all three decks. But, the old A/C was running so good on both of the gaming decks, the smoking didn't really bother us......and we don't like being around smokers at all! Wife has some asthma problems and cig and cigar smoke can really bother her, but not on this ship!

hmmm could you imagine our "Pizza crew" getting together for one of these trips

Yes it would be.......if they would want to gamble! Other than playing the slots or tables, there's very little to do on the ship. Remember, the primary purpose of this short cruise is to gamble! People don't have to gamble, but they would be sitting around for a few hours until the ship started to return to Mayport. That could get boring for some.

My wife would definitely enjoy it. I'd just go for the food.

Do any poker games run on these cruises?

I know there are two poker rooms on Jax's south side, but they're crippled by Florida law ($100 max. buyin).
