Danny you need a visa and it seems that your only route in is as a non immigrant to buy a business and get an E-2 visa

Hi Danny,
I myself am a hairdresser. I found a job within a few weeks of moving here(just moved here a couple months ago). My personal recommendation is the mandarin/beach area of Jacksonville. Both of these areas have a little bit of a nicer crowd.

A degree with child anything is great for many neighborhoods here in Jacksonville. There are a plethora of young families raising children and I'm sure there's a demand for whatever services you can offer. As for your wife, I'm sure there are places where she'll be able to find work.

I believe the first step would be to look into any job opportunities for you both by contacting local businesses and such.

Actually, teaching jobs are non-exisistant in Jax now. There are unofficall waiting lists for openings.

I wouldn't dare come all the way over here to try and find a nursery job & a hairdresser job unless yiu are very well off. Niether nursery or hairdresser jobs make very much money unless you happen to get lucky right off the bat in a high-end area of town.
