Larry at Carl's Salon is the best hairdresser I have ever used (they just moved the salon to the plaza that has Gene's Seafood on Penman road). My parents both go there upon my recommendation & I have recommended him to several friends who now go to him. He's very reasonable for his abilities (a cut & wash for me is $25 + tip). I have been seeing him for almost 5 years & he has never given me a bad cut. He also is the only person I have found to give my 3 year-old a decent haircut (without my child going ballistic).

Larry does a fairly brisk business -- generally I don't think it's possible to walk right in & have him cut your hair.

He does my mom's highlights & I know she is always pleased his prices are reasonable, too for that service.

Carl's Salon (not sure of the exact address since they moved) 246-3377

ETA: Larry will tell you how it is. If you go in there with visions of a cut that he knows won't work for your face/frame, he will let you know. He isn't shy about that sort of thing. That's one of the reasons I like/trust him so much & why he's never given me a bad cut.
