My friend and I are heading to St. Augustine this weekend and we're wondering what there is to do! We're in our twenties so I'd appreciate info about any good hot spots, shopping, beaches, or restaurants.
Any info would be great!! Thanks

while I can't help you I have to ask if you are a michigan girl? well maybe more appropriately a Michigan State girl?

St. Augustine is a fun little place and when we lived there we loved driving down.....lots of fun shops to walk through.

We're actually moving back to the area in a few weeks! I can't wait! Oh and I'm a University of Michigan girl!

If you REALLY want to "party", there is a restaurant right at the edge of the beach at Daytona Beach. It's just a short walk south of the pier. Been there with our friends and the place is totally cool! And, this is coming from people (us and our friends) who are in their early 60's!
Yes, 60 year olds know how to "PARTY" also!!!!

I love to go to Tradewinds on a Friday night! It's a trashy little bar but always has a good band, a dance floor and cheap beer! Have a great time!

Shopping: St George Street (the tourist center of town). The outlet malls (yeah, yeah, they're just outlets, but it's worth an hour or two visit)

Restaurants: Columbia on St George Street for Cuban food.

Beaches. Obviously, St Augustine itself has beaches over the bridge, but you can also go a couple miles up A1A to the Guana preserve. There are several beach access points, and it's usually a nice quiet atmosphere. Fewer people, more sand dunes. Very pretty.
