I will be living off of Bartam Park Blvd in Jacksonville. Mandarin area. Where is the closest DMV location that I can get both a license and plates for my car?

Is this truly necessary given I just renewed my plates in Wisconsin and my license doesn't expire until 2011?

Given the probationary aspect of any job for 90 days, wouldn't it be better to wait until the first of the year?

I need input fast...I leave for Jacksonville in 6 days.

Thanks.

I'd go to the Julington Creek office in St. Johns County. It's new, the lines are short and the employees like their job.

The law states you must register your vehicle within 10 days of establishing residency... Unlike other places I have been getting your vehicle registered is a quick and painless procedure... It is a bit expensive though...

I don't know if you can get your license and register your car at the same place here... They seem to be separate entities...

I don't know about WI but I came from MD and if you turn in your tags with enough time left on the registration you will receive a partial refund...
