I camped out for 10 hours in front of best buy for a GPS... It was in the high 20s in MD... Plenty of people in front of me broke from the cold and left, it was part of the challenge...

I remember having to shop in the huge crowd of people with a heavy jacket, gloves, and a hat... I didn't even bring my winter coat down to FL, I gave it to my brother in MD...

No. I honestly haven't shopped that day in years! we usually end up at the movies or something......I just can't bring myself to go. have fun!!!! in the past when we DID go it wasn't for anything specific....just to get out and if we saw a deal we bought it, but I never would shop because I had to get something that day. I'd be so crabby by the time I got home!

I don't leave the house on Black Friday ... it's not safe for amatuer shoppers to be out that day.

This year I'm starting online Friday morning to try and take advantage of free shipping (so I don't have to lug around all those bags ) I also have been holding off on buying LCD/Plasma tvs over the years (nothing wrong with the tvs I have), but this year I've heard that there will be price wars on them (under 40") all the way up thru Christmas. I'm trying to decide if I should take advantage or wait until after Christmas sales. Any advice? I think there will still be good deals even after Friday.

Prices on the LCD's are down MUCH lower than they've ever been in the past. This is especially true with Plasma's. Most of the one's being marked down are "older" technology, offering only 720p/768p resolution. It's still HD, though, and on the sub-40" screens, 720p/768p is more than enough to get a fantastic picture. I haven't even looked at what BF is offering for deals on TV's, so I can't give any sound advice there. But, I do agree that you're gonna see some pretty good prices on them, even after BF.
