Ememoran, The bad places are pocketed ALL throughout jacksonville there are really nice spots all throughout the westside. the main bad area is the northside. but again there are pockets EVERYWHERE in jacksonville no one spot is particularly any good.

and to Diva There is a certain amount of SAFETY living in the "hood" I know where i used to live in (SILVERSMITH CREEK) off of atlantic and arlington s. there was noise pollution but i never got broken into. in fact for months on end my back sliding glass door was left unlocked and I nor my roommate were non the wiser. So its really a matter of comfort level

coming from Jersey ... Jax looked pretty good night or day ~ as a parent im concerned about the schools ~ ive traveled as much as an hour each way for work here in jersey so driving to either one of us is not a concern ~

Bad to me means boarded up homes and garbage all over ~ so in just 4 days of driving around it looked pretty good ~

I am very familiar with both of these areas. I have friends in Somerset(I use to live in New Brunswick) and I did a lot of business with the City of Tinton Falls

The 9A/Baymeadows area and east of the area headed toward the beach is very similar to both of those places. Ponte Vedra has neighborhoods that remind me of Rumson.
