A friend of mine that lives in Jacksonville took in a little 10 weeks old, female, rottweiler puppy off the street so that it wouldnt die! They cant keep the puppy because their son has asthma. They are trying to find the puppy a good home, they dont want to take it to a shelter. So if anyone wants the puppy or knows someone that does, PLEASE let me know! Thanks!

Has it been to the vet? Do you know any medical info?

Whatever you do, dont take it to the pound. Please take it to a "no-kill" shelter or a rescue if you cant find a home for it.

I sent you a DM. Please read first

Jax Humane Society is no-kill. They take pets only, not strays. If your friend can show vet bills, etc. to prove ownership, they will take her if they feel she can be adopted.

Do NOT post to craigslist unless they really do their homework, ie: letter from the vet of the person wanting to adopt. craigslist has many unethical breeders that would take that little girl and turn her into a puppy factory.

Do NOT take to Animal Care & Control- dogs that go in healthy, leave sick. They are having many problems.

You can also look into any rottie rescue groups....although it looks like someone here posted that they'd like to have it...

Rotties are near and dear to my heart. I lost both of mine last year, and I can't have a dog anytime soon, but I wish you the best of luck! They are a delightful breed.
